I would like to opt-out. How can I do this?

If you would like to opt out of Student Support. Please click here to select your school, and see the opt out info at the bottom of the page.

I got my one-time password but can't access the services. What should I do?

If you've gotten your one-time password and logged into the portal, make sure to request access to the services by clicking the "Complete Registration" button inside the portal.

From there you must access each service separately by clicking the "Get Access" button.

I requested access to my services but didn't get anything yet. What should I do?

It may take up to 48 hours after requesting access for service providers to validate your accounts.

If more than 48 hours have passed since requesting access, email support@studentsupport.ca or use the pink chat bubble on the bottom right of your screen.

I'm not receiving my one-time password. What should I do?

If you're not receiving your one-time password, please double-check that you are inputting the correct email address associated with your school.

If you are using the correct email and still not getting your password, please double check your spam/junk folder.

If you do see your password in your spam/junk folder, make sure to add Student Support to your safe sender list.

I'm having issues with ProWritingAid

To ensure ProWritingAid works properly, it's essential to uninstall Grammarly from your browser/computer. The process is quick and easy, and we've provided step-by-step instructions.

Please use the instructions below to uninstall Grammarly, and then install ProWritingAid:

How to Uninstall Grammarly

Google Chrome Extension:

1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right-hand corner.
3. Go to "More Tools," then "Extensions."
4. Find Grammarly and click on "Remove."

Microsoft Edge Extension:

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Click on the three horizontal dots in the upper right-hand corner.
3. Go to "Extensions."
4. Find Grammarly and click on "Remove."

Safari Extension:

1. Open Safari.
2. Click on "Safari" in the menu bar, then "Preferences."
3. Click on the "Extensions" tab.
4. Find Grammarly and uncheck the box next to it to disable it, or click the "Uninstall" button if available.

Windows Desktop App:

1.
Click on the "Start" button.
2. Click on "Settings."Click on "Apps."
3. Find Grammarly and click on "Uninstall."

Mac Desktop App:

1.
Open the "Finder" app.
2. Click on "Applications" in the sidebar.
3. Find Grammarly, right-click on it, and select "Move to Trash."
4. Alternatively, you can drag the Grammarly icon to the Trash.

Why am I not getting any emails from Student Support?

It's possible that you may have unsubscribed from our emails.

Please go to your email inbox and navigate to the last email you received from us, then click "Manage Preferences" in the email footer and make sure you are subscribed to email communications.
